Santa is not real and other myths…

 

Christmas is almost here and in case you didn’t know SANTA is NOT REAL. Sorry to burst your bubble but don’t expect a Mercedes in the driveway with a bow on it. I don’t care how good you’ve been. The only people that get that kind of gift have a SUGAR DADDY or two or three (note to self: add sugar daddy to my want list-LOL)

What else is FALSE you ask?

1. Squats will give you this HUGE booty. Squats are awesome and I’m not saying it won’t shape your ass, but let’s be realistic…I’ve been squatting and squatting and more squatting heavy for YEARS-quite frankly I’m a little pissed my ass doesn’t have its own zip code yet-what’s my point?! Well my ass looks ok but why isn’t it WAY BIGGER??? Mainly cuz a really good popped out from the back; see it from all angles, envy of every black woman on the planet booty is partially GENETIC!!! Don’t get me wrong, if you have a pancake ass, by all means SQUAT and make the best of what ya got (it WILL improve), but don’t be mislead into thinking you’ll get the Kim Kardashian ass of your dreams, cuz you won’t! Before you look at the pictures I’m about to share and say well those girls with the ginormous butts are fat….maybe they are thick, but if they decided to hit the gym trust me that ass would not go away. It would tighten up and make the rest of us cry and glare with some serious haterade….

2. Lifting heavy won’t make you muscular. I LOVE lifting heavy and I am not trying to scare anyone away from the gym. Will you turn into a Herculean man if you do lift heavy? NO, BUT, don’t get fooled into thinking you won’t put on any damn muscle. Isn’t that why we all train in the first place…to get stronger and transform our physiques? If you are afraid of getting delts, quads, and a v-taper I suggest you look at your diet and programming, because when you actually TRAIN right and EAT right that is exactly what happens. I think its extremely sexy and feminine but keep in mind some people still prefer twigs (and that’s OK) look at YOUR physique goals and modify accordingly. These WOMEN train and have muscle and in my opinion are still beautiful.

3. Turning IFBB pro or totaling elite will get you immediately sponsored. Sorry but it won’t. I know a ton of people that bust their ass and have NO sponsorship (and I’m talking monetary sponsors not the ones that give you free shirts and protein-which is awesome-but that doesn’t pay the bills). There are very few in the industry that are fortunate enough to have that type of sponsorship. Does that mean you should give up?? HELL NO. But also be realistic and know that what you do is for the love of the iron and personal satisfaction. At the end of the day lifting weights isn’t like the NFL and your chances of making a living off of training are slim to none. So please train but don’t forgo an education along the way!

I’m not trying to sound like the Grinch but if I have another client tell me they want to squat heavy to get an ass but not get too muscular I’ll implode!! By all means if you know someone with a pancake ass that squatted for a few months and now looks like Nikki Minaj from behind please do SHARE. Or if you know the girl that benches 225, squats 315 with arms and legs like Angelina Jolie, please post pics below…I never said I was ALWAYS right. That reminds me just in case there is a Santa I really really want a new car, my house paid off oh and that elusive sponsorship contract that pays me to train!
